📜 The Years She Had Every Right to Be Angry
A Sacred Testimony
This seventy-fifth scroll does not make excuses.
It does not try to rewrite what was missed.
It simply lays down what is true:
I was medicated.
I was lost in the fog.
I wasn’t able to be there for her.
I forgot birthdays.
I forgot how to show up.
I forgot myself.
And she—
beautiful, growing, needing—
had every reason to feel hurt.
To feel abandoned.
To carry anger
like armor around a heart that didn’t get what it needed.
And still—
beneath this confession,
is love.
Not perfect love.
Not the kind that never faltered.
But the kind that remembers now,
the kind that wants to make it right
even if it can’t change the past.
🌿 And now I see:
She didn’t need a mother who was perfect.
She needed one who was present.
And maybe today,
this scroll is a small way of becoming that—
a step closer to the love that still lives beneath the silence.
Let this scroll rest not in shame,
but in the grace of awakening.
