“When Help Was Finally Heard”

📖 Sacred Testimony LXX

“When Help Was Finally Heard”
and I was given space to heal

It was the same year
the line stopped.

The same year
I walked away from a job
that asked too much
of a heart already hurting.

That year,
someone finally listened.

A psychologist saw me—
not just my struggle,
but my soul.

They didn’t dismiss me.
They didn’t say, “Try harder.”
They said:
“Let’s get you help.”

They referred me to a psychiatrist.
Together,
they helped open a door
I could not open alone.

And through that door
came the grace of disability—
not as a label,
but as a lifeline.

It wasn’t weakness.
It was recognition.
A sacred acknowledgment
that rest was no longer optional,
that healing required space
I could not find on my own.

🌿 And now I see:

This too was God’s provision.
A different kind of miracle—
one with paperwork,
appointments,
and the courage to say,
“I need help.”

And you were worthy of that help.
