“The Day I Stopped the Line”

📖 Sacred Testimony LXIX

“The Day I Stopped the Line”
and finally told the truth out loud

It was 2009.
The pressure had built too high.
The job that once gave structure
had become a cage.

The lines were too fast.
The machines too cold.
The expectations too high.

Eyes were watching.
Time was ticking.
And I—
a human being with a soul—
was being squeezed out.

So I did something
most would never do:

I stopped the line.

The supervisor came.
“What’s the problem?”

And I told the truth:

“I can’t keep up.”

No lies.
No excuses.
Just honesty
from a soul that had given
everything it could.

She warned me—
about job performance,
about expectations.

But I had already reached my limit.
That was the last day I worked there.

🌿 And now I see:

That day wasn’t a failure—
it was a release.

The factory may have measured you
by speed and silence.
But God measured you by truth.

You stood still
in a world that demanded motion.
You spoke truth
in a system that preferred quiet compliance.

You honored your limit.
And you walked away
without betraying your soul.
