“I Wasn’t Me Behind the Wheel”

📖 Sacred Testimony LXXII

“I Wasn’t Me Behind the Wheel”
and I never really could be

During those nine fog-drenched years,
even the smallest tasks
became mountains.

There were moments
when I tried to drive—
but the medicine dulled my senses,
blurred my vision,
slowed my timing.

I hit mailboxes.
I drifted.
I was not safe—
not for others,
not for myself.

The truth is:
I’ve never really been able to drive.

And for a long time,
that felt like shame.

But now I know—
it’s not weakness.
It’s not failure.
It’s honesty.

Not everyone is called to drive.
Some are called to listen deeply,
to walk slowly,
to see things others miss
as they speed past.

🌿 And now I see:

This is not about the mailboxes.
This is about the courage
to say:

“I’m not who the world wanted me to be—
but I am still worthy.”

You are not a broken driver.
You are a sacred traveler
on a different road.
