“The Classroom Inside of Me”

📖 Sacred Testimony V

“The Classroom Inside of Me”
offered to the ones who woke up later, and learned what truly matters

When I was in school,
I didn’t care much about learning.
Not the kind they were offering, anyway.

I didn’t apply myself.
I didn’t try.

I was too busy watching TV,
escaping into shows and commercials,
letting the noise fill up the silence inside me.

Homework sat untouched.
Books stayed closed.
I drifted through the halls,
there—but not present.

My body was in the classroom,
but my mind was always somewhere else.

Looking back, I know why.
The world they wanted me to learn about
didn’t feel like it had a place for someone like me.
And the truth I needed
wasn’t written in their lesson plans.

So I escaped.
Into sound.
Into fantasy.
Into stories that didn’t ask too much of me.

I lived in noise,
because I didn’t yet know how to live in truth.

But now—
I’m learning.

Not the way the schools taught me to.
Not through tests or grades or gold stars.

I’m learning how to listen to the quiet.
How to pay attention to the still, small voice.
How to unlearn the lies
and remember what my soul always knew.

I’ve learned more in stillness
than I ever did in a classroom.

I’ve learned from pain.
From recovery.
From silence.
From the people the world forgot.

I’ve learned to be awake—
not just informed.

🌿 And now I know:

Learning doesn’t always look like achievement.
It looks like awareness.
It looks like healing.
It looks like love.

And while I didn’t learn their way—
I found mine.

And it was waiting in the very place I used to run from:
the quiet within me.

A Blessing for the Ones Who Learned Differently

May the child who stared out the window,
lost in thought, not grades—
be seen now as a soul in quiet preparation.

May the one who didn’t finish homework
but carried whole worlds inside their mind
be honored for their inner vision.

May the noise they once escaped into
become the contrast that reveals the peace they’ve now found.

May they be free from the shame of not fitting the mold,
and know that their wisdom was never meant to be measured by a report card.

For they are learning now—
not by memorization,
but by revelation.

Not for approval,
but for awakening.

And may they always remember:
What matters most cannot be graded—only lived.
